Hannah and Krys came to me by winning a mini session out of one of my Instagram contests (which I hold every 2-3 months!) Ironically they know friends that Jade and I have in common! I'm sometimes still surprised how many of my clients know friends and acquaintances of mine so it really goes to show how word of mouth and social media sharing really helps to get your name out there!
We did the shoot at the Air Park in Courtenay, and the weather was just gorgeous. Cool air with warm sunlight and a perfect golden hour light. Everything about this mini session screamed fall! I loved that the two of them wore very complimenting outfits, and in addition it matched their surroundings perfectly. Deep shades of green and neutral colors are always a good way to go in the fall, and if you don't like green i'm a BIG fan of Burgundy! Holy does a deep red flatter anyone. I'm serious, it looks good on EVERYONE. Put your man in a burgundy shirt or sweater and you'll be swooning over the photos!
These two are expecting their first little one in November and, much to my excitement, they brought their puppy Georgia! She's a sweet blue pitty, one of the most well behaved and relaxed for her age I've ever met so it was wonderful having her around! Not to mention she worked the camera like a pro!
AGAIN! Do not be afraid to bring your dogs to your shoot! I love dogs! or any animal for that matter! they make for good action photos too :P
