HI, I'M TAYLOR
I was born on Vancouver Island and have lived here my whole life.
I've had a camera in my hands for 10 years now and have had the blessed opportunity to capture weddings for the last 4.
If you've made it this far then thank you! Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and what I do here. I use photography to capture the moments and the people I meet because I love to tell stories.
I could tell you all about how I met the love of my life when I was 14 and how we got married 10 years later or how I know my sister is going to be my future kids favorite person in the whole world because she holds the patience and understanding of a saint, but I'll save those stories for when we meet in person.
For now, I want to get to know you and how I can best tell your story.
I look forward to meeting you!
If you follow me on social media then you know this babe already.
If you happen to have stumbled upon me recently and have no idea who this is then let me introduce you.
This is Jade!
She is my best friend in life and co-creative in my photography world. We often work together for shoots and she is my right hand for weddings. She acts as a professional hype girl, my assistant dress fluffer and hair tucker, and styles shoots with me all the time. We work together on a lot of projects with local vendors too!
She is originally from South Africa and is currently studying Hospitality and Sustainable Tourism at the local college. Her one and only love is her cat Batman.
She is both a princess and a cowgirl. To be honest, we both thrived the moment we met. I was still doing Photography rather casually until I met her. She started modeling with photographers all over the island once we started working together, and without each other we wouldn't be where we are today. She sells me like a seasoned prostitute to as many people as she can and I bring her on all of my journeys and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Jesse is my moral compass. He helps me adult in the real world even though I tend to run the opposite direction he's pointing me in a lot of the time. The biggest thing I appreciate about him is his patience. I've definitely tested it quite a few times. He cares for my sisters as if they were his own, which is a quality I will always cherish in him.
He's a bit of an environmentalist, and by that I mean he uses as few single use items as possible and got excited when a local refillery opened up in our home town. I'm talking kid on Christmas morning excited!
He works with wildlife during the warm seasons by keeping them off oil sites in Northern Alberta, especially bears. He loves bears.
We dream that one day we will have a dog, and a heckin good one at that!
